New International Exchange Opportunities For Law Students 🌍

The Law Department is pleased to announce several new international exchange opportunities for our students through newly signed and expanded partnerships with leading universities across Europe and Asia.

Students will now have the opportunity to study abroad at:

🇹🇭 Thammasat University (Thailand)
One of Southeast Asia’s leading universities, internationally recognised for law, politics, international relations, and public policy.

🇱🇹 Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania)
A leading European university specialising in law, criminology, cybersecurity, public administration, and digital governance.

🇪🇸 IE University (Spain)
One of Europe’s most internationally recognised private universities, famous for law, business, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership education.

🇬🇧 University of Westminster (United Kingdom)
WIUT’s validating university located in central London, offering strong expertise in law, business, media, and international education.

🇰🇿 KIMEP University (Kazakhstan)
One of Central Asia’s top international universities with strong programmes in law, international relations, business, and public policy.

🇦🇿 ADA University (Azerbaijan)
A rapidly growing international university recognised for diplomacy, governance, international relations, and regional policy studies.

📌 Available places: 2 students per university

These exchange opportunities will allow students to gain international academic experience, study in diverse educational environments, and strengthen their global professional networks.

📢 Dear CIFS Students, please be reminded that all CIFS students must submit their Undergraduate course choice through the SRS system.

Students are required to choose ONE of the following programmes:

• BA (Hons) in Business Management and its Pathways
• BSc (Hons) in Computer Science
• BA (Hons) in Commercial Law
• BA (Hons) in International Relations and Law
• BSc (Hons) in Economics and its Pathways
• BSc (Hons) in Finance

🎓 Sturgeon Scholarships – Leaders for Tomorrow

📢 Dear Level 4 Students,

The Sturgeon Foundation is pleased to invite applications for the Sturgeon Scholarship Programme for students in:

• BSc in Finance
• BSc in Economics with Finance
• BSc in Business Information Systems
• BSc in Computer Science

This is a full two-year tuition scholarship covering the second and third years (Level 5 and Level 6) of the bachelor’s programme at WIUT.

- Applicants should be starting Level 5 in September 2026.
- Successful candidates will automatically receive the scholarship for both Level 5 and Level 6, subject to maintaining academic excellence and eligibility.

The Sturgeon Scholarship is designed for academically excellent, dynamic students with strong leadership potential. As a leadership programme, we seek individuals who are actively engaged in their communities and committed to making a positive impact beyond their studies.

- Complete and submit the Sturgeon Scholarship application form;
- Submit academic transcripts (all previous semesters);
- Provide a CV/Resume;
- Attend an online interview (for shortlisted candidates only).

Computing Projects Expo 2026 Showcases Innovation and Talent at WIUT 💻

On 1 May 2026, the Computer Science team at Westminster International University in Tashkent successfully hosted the Computing Projects Expo 2026.

The event brought together students, IT industry professionals, and academic staff to explore a diverse range of innovative computing projects. Students presented their work through live demonstrations, offering attendees an opportunity to engage directly with their ideas, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback.

A key highlight of the Expo was the active involvement of attendees in the evaluation process, with live voting enabling participants to recognise and celebrate the most outstanding projects of the year.

WIUT Student Achieves Top 3 at National AI Hackathon

We are proud to share that Shohruxxo’ja Muxiddinov, our Level 6 Computing student, has secured 3rd place at the prestigious National AI Hackathon.

The hackathon, held in Bukhara, brought together talented young innovators from across the country for an intensive five-day programme focused on developing real-world artificial intelligence solutions. Participants worked in teams, received mentorship from industry experts, and presented their projects to a professional jury during the final Demo Day.

Shohruxxo’ja’s achievement highlights not only his individual talent and dedication, but also the growing strength of WIUT students in the field of digital innovation and emerging technologies. The competition itself is part of a nationwide initiative aimed at fostering the AI ecosystem and supporting the next generation of tech leaders in Uzbekistan.
