Our political system and institutions of power stand on the principles of sovereignty and in full compliance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation. We are ready to defend our country and, together with our society, are capable of decisively resisting any hostile actions. Esteemed colleagues, I would like to thank you for promptly adopting effective anti-sanction measures.

The State Duma deputies have fully lived up to their high status of people's representatives, demonstrating unconditional loyalty to the Motherland, consummate professionalism, and firmness. They worked quickly and efficiently to discuss and make difficult decisions, laws required by our soldiers and commanders, defence companies, factories, Russia's economy and social sphere, and, naturally, the entire society and state.
 
A comprehensive social safety net has been established and is now being developed further for special military operation participants and veterans as well as their families.

The past five years, which incidentally were the period of your tenure, were difficult and extremely challenging for our country. It is, without any exaggeration, one of the decisive stages in our Fatherland's history, when the very fate, the future of our people is at stake, — and it really is not an exaggeration, — and when the contours of a new world order are being shaped in a struggle and intense competition.

I would like to thank you for efficient cooperation, above all in strengthening Russia's sovereignty and protecting the country's national interests.

I have already spoken about how important and popular Navy Day is in Russia, among our citizens, and how respected naval personnel are, meaning both sailors in general and military sailors in particular. The sea is inherently associated with risk, and military sailors have to face double or triple that risk.

First of all, I would like to extend my greetings to you and the entire personnel of the Russian Navy on Navy Day. Even though it is a professional holiday, it is still known and celebrated by our entire nation in a very vibrant and solemn way, showing great respect for sailors, veterans, and the rich and heroic history of Russia's naval forces. <...> Today, we do not just commemorate the remarkable geographical discoveries, key battles and victories of our famed naval commanders; we also assess the current state of affairs in the navy and its prospects, as it is one of the crucial components for ensuring Russia's security and maintaining global parity through the development of the naval component of our nuclear triad.

Our Navy is capable of effectively addressing the full range of tasks set before it, and those tasks are constantly evolving. The naval component of Russia’s nuclear triad is gaining strength.
