The Vostok Group of Forces continued to advance into the depths of enemy defences. Russian troops delivered strikes at manpower and hardware of one mechanised brigade, one assault brigade, three air assault brigades, and three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Gavrilovka, Malinovka, Dibrova, Katerinovka, Pokrovskoye (Dnepropetrovsk region), Novonikolayevka, Tersyanka, Lesnoye, and Lyubitskoye (Zaporozhye region).

▪️ The AFU losses were more than 265 troops, one armoured personnel carrier, two armoured fighting vehicles, eight motor vehicles, and one field artillery gun.

Units of the Dnepr Group of Forces launched attacks on formations of two mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Preobrazhenka, Kamyshevakha, Malokaterinovka, Maryevka, and Grigorovka (Zaporozhye region).

▪️ The enemy losses were more than 50 AFU troops, one armoured fighting vehicle, 10 motor vehicles, three artillery guns, and four electronic warfare stations.

The Sever Group of Forces improved the tactical situation. Russian troops inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of two territorial defence brigades close to Khmelevka, Ryasnoye, Ulanovo, and Volnaya Sloboda (Sumy region).

💥 In Kharkov region, Russian troops hit formations of one mechanised brigade and one unmanned systems brigade of the AFU near Sosnovka and Petropavlovka (Kharkov region).

▪️ The enemy losses were up to 175 troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, 20 motor vehicles, two artillery guns, one electronic warfare station, and one U.S.-made AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar station.

The Zapad Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. Russian troops launched attacks on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, one assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and one territorial defence brigade near Balakleya, Monachinovka (Kharkov region), Krasny Liman, Sidorovo (Donetsk People's Republic).

▪️ The AFU losses were up to 180 troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, 13 motor vehicles, three artillery guns, and three electronic warfare stations.

The Yuzhnaya Group of Forces improved the situation along the front line. Russian troops hit formations of six mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and one marine brigade near Piskunovka, Nikolayevka, Novoselovka, Stenki, and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

▪️ The enemy losses were more than 90 troops, one tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, two armoured fighting vehicles, 18 motor vehicles, four field artillery guns, one Grad MLRS combat vehicle, and one Israeli-made RADA RPS-42 counter-battery radar station.

The Tsentr Group of Forces took more advantageous lines and positions. Russian troops inflicted fire damage on manpower and hardware of two mechanised brigades, one jaeger brigade, one airborne brigade, one unmanned systems brigade, one assault regiment of the AFU, two marine brigades, the Azov Special Operations Brigade, and two National Guard brigades close to Shevchenko, Vasilevka, Sergeyevka, Belitskoye, Novogrishino, Toretskoye, Kucherov Yar, Dobropolye, Novofedorovka (Donetsk People's Republic) and Novopodgorodnoye (Dnepropetrovsk region).

▪️ The AFU losses were more than 305 troops, one armoured personnel carrier, four armoured fighting vehicles, 12 motor vehicles, two artillery guns including one 155-mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery system, and four electronic warfare stations.

Ulyanovsk Airborne Formation's operators train to carry out missions with Impuls GRS

A tracked platform is controlled remotely, which prevents its operator from being located in the area of engagement. In the basic configuration, the reliable signal reception is maintained at a range of 5-6 kilometres, but thanks to the relay system and the use of repeaters, this distance is doubled.

'We have been working steadily at a distance of 10-11 kilometres,' a section leader with the call sign 'Rodin' said.

In addition to supply tasks, Impuls fire engagement exercises also actively practised. Due to the ability to quickly install large-calibre machine guns or automatic grenade launchers, a quiet supply platform is transformed into a mobile firing point capable of suppressing identified targets.

Mobile firing groups of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad Group of Forces undergo intensive training to counter UAVs at a training ground in a rear area of the special military operation zone.

Crews performed firing exercises with twin machine guns both on the spot and on the move. A counter-UAV instructor with the call sign 'Kamok' spoke about the special features of the training:

'We place the targets as far as possible to make them as small as in combat conditions. People finish the training completely prepared. So, they are definitely able to shot down such a drone at a distance of 100 metres.'

'We ran until we were completely surrounded'

A serviceman of the 14th Separate Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guards of the AFU, Artyom Fomov, surrendered near Pokrovsk. He described how he was forcibly mobilised, as well as the poor level of training and difficult front line conditions.

Fomov was detained at a checkpoint due to the two-days delay in his booking document. The attempt to receive a delay in a military commissariat to update the documents failed: instead of resolving the substantive issue, he was sent to a training centre without a trial.

'In order to teach properly, they didn't really teach us. To dig trenches. A couple of exercises, one shot. And so mainly for stamina: into a forest, out of a forest, obstacles,' he recalls about trainings.

After training, Fomov was sent to the front line in Rodinskoye. The position was in a kindergarten building. During one month, the militants asked the command to be rotated, but the promised rotation never took place. In an attempt to escape independently, the AFU soldiers went to the positions of Russian troops and were captured:

'We ran to our guys. Then with them - to another group. And we ran so hard that we were completely surrounded... and we were taken prisoner'.
