In April 2025, global inflation trends remained uneven, reflecting varied economic pressures and policy responses.
The
United States saw inflation ease further to 2.30% (-0.10 pp), driven by cooling energy costs and softer consumer demand.
Canada and
Germany also posted moderate declines, down by 0.60 pp. and 0.10 pp.
While
Brazil hit 5.53% (+0.05 pp) due to currency depreciation and rising food costs.
Overall, inflation dynamics among major economies remain divergent. While some are progressing steadily toward price stability, others continue to grapple with underlying inflation risks driven by domestic demand, currency movements, and commodity prices.
