April 2003, Borgarting Court of Appeal: A 39-year-old man, who in 1999 was sentenced to custody for sexual abuse of children under the age of 14, has the case re-heard due to the new regulations. The Court of Appeal concludes that the man will be released from compulsory mental health care as they believe that the risk of recurrence is not imminent. The court also emphasizes that the man, who is paranoid schizophrenic, goes to voluntary treatment ?????
