קבוצה של 62 בני נוער העומדים בפני גיוס לצה"ל, שיגרו מכתב לראש הממשלה אריאל שרון, ובו הם מאיימים שלא להתגייס בשל מדיניות הממשלה בשטחים.
חברי הקבוצה סיפרו ל-ynet, כי "כמחאה על ההפרות החמורות של זכויות אדם המבצעת ישראל בשטחים הכבושים – החל ברצח ללא משפט, וכלה במצור החונק של האוכלוסייה הפלסטינית, בכוונתנו לסרב לקחת חלק בפעולות דיכוי העם הפלסטיני. כל אחד מאתנו, בדרכו שלו, עומד לסרב לשתף פעולה עם הכיבוש הנורא –

A group of 62 youths facing recruitment into the IDF sent a letter to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in which they threaten not to enlist due to the government's policy in the territories.
The members of the group told Ynet that "as a protest against the serious violations of human rights committed by Israel in the occupied territories - beginning with extrajudicial killings and ending with the suffocating blockade of the Palestinian population, we intend to refuse to take part in the acts of oppression of the Palestinian people.
