😊
Use an *adjective* after look/seem/feel — *not* an adverb! ✅
Remember the rule:
>
Look / Seem / Feel + 😊 Adjective
> *Describe the state, not the action.*
Correct Examples:
✅
She looks *sad*.
❌
She looks sadly.
✅
He seems *happy* in his new job.
❌
He seems happily...
✅
Tom feels *happy* with his family.
❌
Tom feels happily...
Quick tip:
These verbs describe
how someone/something appears or feels — not *how* they do something.
👉
Adjective = state (sad, happy, tired)
👉
Adverb = manner (sadly, happily, tiredly)
